I have so many gift cards with random values because I treat them like cash -- I add value so that I always have coffee, food, gas, etc that I can buy. I haven't used the included paper tracking as I just put the current reciept with remaining balance in with the card.

But the reality: something extra to remember or carry to have them with me if shopping unexpectedly; uneven size when full because cards are all in top of case. would like snap or latch to keep it closed

The product is great for gift cards and store cards. Everyone wants you to carry their card. My wallet isn't big enough. I use this organizer to put them in. All cards in one place. It would be better if there were two rows of sleeves and the pages with the amount could be slipped in behind the card.
