Last year (2011) I purchased this item & it was a bit bigger with a flap that held it closed. I thought it was perfect for what I needed & had plenty of space for me to write, yet was small enough to carry in my purse. This years version is MUCH smaller. yes it fits in my purse, but I would have liked to have more writting space & the magnetic flap to keep it closed. Overall it's just "ok" bring back the other version & it will be PERFECT once again!

Very compact...can go anywhere. I keep with me at all times to add meetings/appts and view my schedule. Quality product. Would like to see additional "room" so that adding inserts doesn't result in the planner bulging.
